Rachel M. Evans

Rachel M. Evans passed away peacefully after a courageous battle, on Monday, May 15, 2017, at the age of 42.

Rachel is survived by her mother, Loretta M. Evans; sisters, Chrissy and Beth; Goddaughter and cousin Trish Comet and cousins Gina Comet-Baker, Lisa Comet, Jackie Lokus, Chuck Evans (Carolyn), Vince Evans (Michele), Dave McOwen, Kate McOwen Pflanz (John).  She is preceded in death by her father, John C. Evans, and cousin Melissa McOwen.

Rachel loved her family and friends, and enjoyed spending time reading books on the shores of Cape May, NJ.  She worked for Special People in the Northeast (SPIN, Inc.) for almost 20 years and loved her SPIN family dearly. #RachelStrong

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 11:00 - 1:00 PM, at the Hollen Funeral Home, Inc., 3160 Grant Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, 19114. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Rachel's life.

Luncheon to follow for family and friends at the Tiffany Diner, 9010 Roosevelt Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA, 19115.
