Leonard Ziff Obituary

Leonard Barry Ziff of New Hope died in the hospital on December 8, 2018 at the age of 81. He was a devoted husband to Sallie for 59 years and father of Alyssa and Mark. He is also survived by his grandson Ryan Richard and his wife, Lindsay, and their daughter, Barry's great-granddaughter, Camryn. Brother of Bonnie Robles, he was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

Barry was a wonderful patriarch, adviser and trusted confidante for many. He attended Penn State University, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. He served as Sears Eastern Regional Manager of surplus stores. Generous with his time to the community, he served on the Concordia Chamber Ensemble Board, as a New Hope Historical Society officer, spent 30 years with the New Hope Planning Commission, participated with the Princeton Arts Festival, where he was an extra in the production of La Boehme, and was a member of the Sears Sunshine Club.

Barry loved to travel, as well as presenting local history. He was a patron of the arts. He was a judicious, fair-minded person and a great role model. He will be sorely missed by all.
