Marjorie (Forsyth) Hartley

Marjorie Hartley (nee Forsyth). Age 79. September 20, 2017. Beloved wife of Asher John. Devoted mother of Andrea Croce (Michael), Lisa Katzman (Brock) and Gail Conaway (Patrick). Grandmom of Dallas, Erica and Shane Croce, Chelsea and Emily Katzman, and Erin, Molly and Asher Conaway. Great-Grandmom of Brayden and Kennedy Martin (children of Chelsea and George Martin). Also survived by Bruce Reikow (Jennifer) and other nieces and nephews. 

Marjorie was born and raised in Philadelphia. She was married for 59 years to her beloved Ash. They traveled to many locations and loved spending time with their family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmom and great-grandmom. She cherished attending all of their dance recitals, plays, soccer practices and games, basketball practices, lacrosse games, cheer competitions, piano and guitar recitals, color guard competitions, graduations, award ceremonies, as well as birthday parties and holidays.

She loved to read, travel and garden. She valued her close friendships with her neighbors. She adored her "sorority sisters" with whom she still met on a regular basis.She retired from Philadelphia Gas Works Credit Union and enjoyed the company of her former co-workers.

She will be truly missed and was dearly loved by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, from 10:30 A.M. to Noon at Hollen Funeral Home, Inc., 3160 Grant Avenue (West of Academy Road), Philadelphia, PA. Memorial Service at Noon.
