Thomas J. Foreman, Sr.

Thomas J. Foreman Sr. Age 80. April 14, 2019. Loving husband of the late Theresa M. (Terry), nee Weiss. Devoted father of Thomas, Jr. (Stacy), Elizabeth (Ziggy), Michael (Lynne) and Patricia. Very loving Pop-Pop to Jimmy, Andrew, Jaclyn, Sean, Erica, Michael, Emily and Cecilia. Great Grandpop to Isaac.

Tom was born in Philadelphia to the late Warren P. and Elizabeth (nee Franzen). Survived by his sisters, Kathleen (Kitty), Dolly and Rosemary. Predeceased by his brothers, John and Anthony. Tom served in the Army after graduation from North Catholic High School. He married the love of his life, Terry, and raised four children. He worked at S.P.S. Technologies until retirement. In his healthier years, Tom enjoyed bowling on Sunday nights and teaching people how to make the 10 pin. He earned the name "Coach" and loved every minute of it. He enjoyed spending weekends at the campground with his family. He looked forward to getting his funnel cake and french fries (the things you would never find on his cardiac menu).  At home he enjoyed his afternoons with his buddy, Comet. He looked forward to his phone calls from Knobby telling him which John Wayne movie was coming on. And we can't forget his enjoyment of watching every episode of Big Bang Theory, over and over again.

In December his health became really bad, and doctors told the family it was the end. But Tom didn't think so, so he fought. Doctors had him on his death bed several times, but he continued to fight. He amazed everyone how strong he was. He definitely gave it his all. Unfortunately, his body had enough and he passed on.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. at St. Anselm's Church, 12670 Dunksferry Road, Philadelphia, PA. Funeral Mass at 2:00 P.M.

Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
