Irma (Gianangelo) Chima

Irma Chima (nee Gianangelo) passed away peacefully on March 19, 2023, surrounded by her daughter, grandchildren and Gene. Born on July 18, 1927 (95 years old) to Anna and Giovanni Gianangelo in South Philadelphia.  She lived in Holmesburg for 60 years and moved to Warminster in 2021.  She will be remembered as a generous, caring, loving and funny woman who was devoted to her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.  Beloved wife of the late Gus Chima, loving mother to Karen Wade, devoted grandmother to Robbie (Kristin) Wade and Dina (Kevin) Wojciechowski, and devoted great-grandmother to 6 adorable children. Sister of the late Caroline "Lil" Bruni and Mario Gianangelo.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 8504 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19136. Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M.

Interment at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
