She was an original Parkwood homeowner and worked many years at the IRS and then as a teller at Philadelphia Park Racetrack. She was the daughter of the late James and Florence (nee Dean) Malone, and sister of the late Mary Cleary (Joseph), Peggy O'Leary (Joseph), Cassie Houser (Delmer), James Malone (Judy), Helen Lare (John), Robert "Butchie" Malone, and Patricia Nugent (Danny). She was survived by her sisters Ann Malone and Agnes Antonelli.
Joan was the devoted mother of Jean Lewis, the late Joan Schneiders, George McReynolds, Ron McReynolds (Ginny), Denise McReynolds, Donna Enstrom (Colin) and the late Robert McReynolds; adoring grandmother of Juliette Dobson (Matt), Stephen Lewis (Jayme), Laura King (Andrew), Crystal Avallon (Patrick), Jonathan Lewis (Chelsea), Thomas Schneiders (Jacqueline), Kaitlyn Gaimari, Lauren Sammartino (Michael), Jeff McReynolds and Sean McReynolds. Joan was the great-grandmother ("GG") of Natalie, Elizabeth ("Busy"), Rileigh, Grace and Vivienne, Margot, Wesley and Lily Joan.
