Justin Michael Swaim, 40, was called home to Heaven on Saturday, November 13, 2021. He passed peacefully surrounded by his immediate family. He valiantly fought an 11-year battle against Multiple Sclerosis with the support of his loved ones.
Beloved son of Janet (née Lutz) and the late John J. Swaim, Jr. Dear brother of John J. Swaim, III and Jessica (Joseph) Ward. Loving uncle of Brenden, Colleen, Allison, Sean, Caroline, Jude and Maeve. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Justin was born and raised in Far Northeast Philadelphia and loved the Philadelphia Phillies. He was a graduate of Father Judge High School (‘00) and Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English (‘05).
Justin also thoroughly enjoyed history and travel. In addition to visiting several states across the country, Justin spent time in Venezuela, Australia, Spain, Panama and France throughout his life.
Justin was a devout Roman Catholic with a brave, loving, kind old soul. He was also so very handsome — and he knew it. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, until we meet again.
