Margaret D. Antenucci (nee Santangini), born October 29, 1922 to Nicola and Antoinette (nee Rotolo) in South Philadelphia, died September 29, 2023 in Venice, Florida. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Antenucci. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Linda Matonis (Joe), Frank Antenucci, Jr. and Robert Antenucci (Margo). Margaret was a cherished grandmother to Joseph Matonis, Jr., Michael Matonis, Rachel Antenucci Toner and Carla Antenucci, great-grandmother to Henry, Phillip and William Matonis and Benjamin and Luke Toner. Margaret was life-long resident of Philadelphia and a long-standing member of St. Jerome Church in the Northeast. Margaret loved family. She loved her neighbors as herself. Margaret enjoyed cooking. She loved to make her special veal meatballs and sausage, especially if the grandchildren would be visiting. She met every request, even if it took an entire day.
Margaret celebrated her 100th birthday on October 29, 2022. She was surrounded by so many people who wanted to share in the rare occasion. She never forgot anyone's birthday or special day. She took pleasure in recalling what happened on what day no matter if it was last year or 60 years ago.
