Marie Adelmise Blanc was born in Cabaret, Haiti on August 22, 1943, the daughter of Athisme Blanc and Estavia Barthelmy. Adelmise was an excellent seamstress and a remarkable homemaker. She married her late husband, Roger, in 1975, who left to be with the Lord in July 2017.
Adelmise is survived by her four children, Roudy, Benoit, Marie Roger and Fresnel. She was a devoted mother, very courageous, generous and compassionate toward the people in her community. Adelmise sacrificed a lot for the well-being of her family and remained active for her entire life.
Adelmise was a fervent servant of God and found her greatest joy whenever she was among other church members to glorify and praise God. The Blessed Mother had a very special place in her heart, and she was very faithful to her rosary.
Lastly, Adelmise was a great cook and would share her dishes with anyone who would stop by to visit. Her spirit will always live in our hearts.
May God forgive her sins and receive her in the shining light of the Holy Spirit.
