William J. Fisher

William John Fisher, Sr. peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the age of 77. Born on July 8, 1942 in Philadelphia, he was the dear son of the late Joseph Fisher, Sr. and was also pre-deceased by brothers Robert  and Joseph, Jr. On August 5, 1961, Bill married his first love, the late Margaret A. (nee Friel), a marriage that lasted 58 precious years. Devoted father of Cathleen Moyer (Edward), Margaret, Lorraine Box (John) and William (Katherine, nee Klinke). Loving grandfather of Jennifer Wagner (Kurt), Edward Moyer, Samantha Moyer, William and Emma Rose Fisher.

Poppy will forever be known for his quick wit, sense of humor, kind and compassionate spirit and strong work ethic. Bill lived a simple life with enduring love for his wife and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 11:00 A.M - Noon at Hollen Funeral Home, Inc., 3160 Grant Avenue (West of Academy Road), Philadelphia, PA. Memorial Service at Noon.
