Dear Emily,
I just happened to look up Daniel McFadden and I was shocked to see that he passed away. I haven't seen him in so many years but I thought about him many times. I remember you, Emily, when you were a little girl and we would have conversations together in your mom's restaurant and eventually you would marry the person I loved so deeply.
Our lives went in different directions but I always thought I would run into the two of you someplace. I remember his family so well and I loved them, especially Pat.
I went on to have six children and in 2008 I lost my youngest son. My oldest son is now in a rehab having suffered a massive stroke last November.
Well, Emily, I am certain you life has changed drastically since having lost dear Danny. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope there was no suffering for him in the end. He was a good person!

Dan, we are all going to miss you so much, especially your joking and teasing ways.
