I will miss the lunches and the laughter that Lee and I shared throughout the years. My deepest sympathy is extended to the family as I know the emptiness that must be felt by the family.
Seek comfort in all of her beautiful memories. She touched everyone's life!

Marie, Thanks so much for those words, I know those times she spent with you meant a lot to her because she would always tell me when she had lunch with her friend Marie. She talked about you with a fond smile all the time. I'm so glad I was able to get in touch with you, she would have loved that you were there. Love, Jeff

Dear Family,
Lee was my first "boss" at International Clinical Lab. She was the kindest sweetest person. She loved her job and was a great leader. We became friends and travelled to England together. We had a great time. We didn't see each other much after Quest bought Smith Kline but she always had a special place in my heart. She was a wonderful person. I will always have pleasant thoughts of Lee.

Dear Cheryl, Thank you for those kind words and sweet memories that you shared with our mother. Her friends meant so much to her, and she talked about the times she spent with them all the time. She was a special soul who could sit and talk to a complete stranger like she knew them her whole life. That's pretty rare, but she was really something else, and everyone she met could see it. I'm glad you had the chance to get to know her, and I thank you for sharing those memories of her with us. It means so much that she was thought of so fondly because I know that's how she thought of her friends too. She will be missed dearly. Thank you again. Love, her son Jeff

October 6, 2016 7:35 AM

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain,

I am the gentle autumn's rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush

of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there, I did not die...

Aunt Lee was truly a beautiful person inside and out. Honest, loyal and most importantly she was my friend. She welcomed me with open arms into her family and truly made me feel like I was part of hers. That is something I never experienced before and I felt so loved by her. My daughter has gained an angel in heaven and I know she will watch over her just as she did for all of us. I love you aunt Lee.
Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Everything remains as it was.
The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no sorrow in your tone.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again.

My deepest thoughts and prayers to all of you. Jeff your mom was always so kind to me throughout many many many years. I will always remember calling your home and having a long conversation with her before I even got a chance to talk to you or find out you weren't even home. I am so glad I got to see your mom again last summer and she got a chance to meet my family. Ms. Lydia you are a special and will be missed by many.
