Dear Chamberlain family, My condolences on Bill's passing. I'll never forget the summer of 1960 when I was 17 years old and Bill arranged it for me to play in the Philadelphia Open held at Merion Golf Course. That morning he picked me up at my home on Grant Ave. and drove me to and from the Merion course. It was my first golf tournament at a regional level. I remember it and Bill's thoughtfulness like it was yesterday. As a caddie at TFCC, Bill always arranged it so that I caddied for his foursome. GOD rest Bill and his kind heart. Very truly yours, John Day
